My Review

I have always been a big fan of Melissa Foster so I was elated when I was given the opportunity to participate and review one of her books! She does not disappoint and I think they just keep getting better. I am most impressed by the way she portrays each of the characters. She has this way of making you want to jump into the book and become a part of the story.

I was very excited to hear about the addition of the Seaside Summers series beginning with Seaside Dreams. This book starts out the series with the cast of friends introduced in book 5 of The Remingtons. They are a close knit group and you really wish you could join them by the fire and just be a part of them. We start out meeting Bella and Caden. Bella is the mischievous one out of all the girls. We find her at the beginning of the story dedicated to starting and building up her summer project which she hopes will develop into a full time position. She is not looking for a man, let alone any kind of relationship.

Well......when you least expect it guess who shows up but the newest member of the local law enforcement. Yes, I mean Caden Grant. Our most yummy man in uniform and father to a teenage son. Caden was looking for a safer environment for him and his son after a tragic loss. What better place in the world than Wellfleet, Mass.? I found myself more than once rooting for this relationship.

All in all I can say that I was so pleased when I found out about the newest series and can't wait to read about the rest of this group of friends. They are such a good fit and care about each other so much. As I was sitting reading this book it just felt like being surrounded by a warm blanket on a wintry cold night. I hope that everyone will start one-clicking this book as soon as they can and I would love to hear your opinion!
